That Blows. May 28. Grace Church Street. Landscapers warned not to use leaf blowers.
Dumping on a Good Night’s Sleep. May 29. Walden Lane. Dump trunk was making a delivery – workers aware of city code on construction work start time.
Troubling Stuff. May 29. Purchase Street. Anonymous Caller complaining customers shopping at retail establishment in violation of COVID-19 policy. Spoke with manager and advise her of governor’s order in regard to retail shopping.
Distilled Feelings. May 29. G. Giffin Wine, Forest Avenue. Owner pressed panic alarm during verbal dispute with unruly customer.
Bike vs. Car. May 30. Oakland Beach Avenue. Bicyclist struck by motor vehicle. EMS transport to Greenwich Hospital for minor injuries.
Skating on Thin Ice. May 30. Rye Rec Skate Park, Midland Avenue. Report of kids trying to break into skate park. Advised group of kids that skate park is closed. No property damage to lock or immediate area.
More Troubling Stuff. May 30. Purchase Street. Report of customers insider store shopping violating Phase 1 reopening. Spoke with store owner. All transactions according to owner have been curbside. Advised about the executive order.
Ranger Rick Down. May 30. Sanford Street. Report of sick raccoon in roadway. Animal discharged.
Got Gas? May 31. Peck Avenue. While patrolling the area of Rye Colony, flagged down by Con Ed gas employee. He stated that he needed to make entry into apartment 27B due to a strong odor of gas. FD assistance not required. Entry was made and condition corrected.
Fallen & Can’t Get Up. June 1. Milton Harbor House. Caller stated that her mother fell and needs help getting up. EMS dispatched.
Lost Car. June 3. Party misplaced his vehicle. A 2017 Toyota Camry. Car 10 located vehicle behind City Hall. Party was transported to his vehicle. No further incident.
